A Heartfelt Message from Justine: Navigating Mother's Day Without Mum

Hey there, EEFM's family and friends,

I hope this message finds you well as we approach Mother's Day, a time filled with both joy and reflection for many of us.

You know, being a florist isn't just a job for me; it's a legacy, a tradition that runs deep in my family. My mum was a florist too, and her love for flowers and beauty shaped not just our shop, but my entire outlook on life. Losing her was a blow that shook me to my core and made me realize just how fleeting life can be.

As cliche as it sounds, her passing cemented in me the belief that we have to go for things in life, to seize every opportunity, to cherish every moment. But despite this newfound determination, this year, as Mother's Day draws near, her absence weighs heavier on my heart than ever before.

It's like a bittersweet reminder of all the beautiful moments we shared together and all the moments we'll never get to share again. The thought of not having her here to witness my son starting school, to see my children grow and flourish, it's a pain that cuts deep.

But in the midst of this sadness, I find solace in the love and support of our community. From my amazing team here at the shop to each and every one of you, your kindness and understanding mean more to me than words can express.

That's why I want to extend a heartfelt invitation to you all. If Mother's Day feels particularly tough for you this year, know that you're not alone. We're all in this together.

And if you need to take a step back, to unsubscribe from our Mother's Day campaigns or to simply take some time for yourself, please do. Your well-being is what matters most.

Thank you for your unwavering support, for being a part of our journey, and for understanding that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is to take care of ourselves.

With love and gratitude,

Justine
