Got Questions About Our Flowers?

Everything you need to know before you order

What's the difference between sympathy, condolence, and bereavement flowers?

These terms are generally used interchangeably — sympathy flowers, condolence flowers, and bereavement flowers all refer to arrangements sent to express care and comfort during a time of loss, whether for a funeral service, a memorial, or simply to let someone know you're thinking of them.

How quickly can sympathy flowers be delivered?

We can generally accommodate specific delivery times for funerals, especially within our inner metro zone. Many funeral homes are also well set up to store flowers overnight ahead of an early service, so that's another good option. If you have a specific time you need flowers by, we'd recommend calling or emailing our team directly and we can advise on the best approach for your situation.

Should sympathy flowers be sent to the funeral home or the family's home?

This is a personal decision, and there's no right or wrong answer. Sending to the family home can mean one less thing to think about at the end of the service, since they won't need to carry flowers home. If we deliver while the family is out or at the service, we'll leave the flowers in water somewhere safe for their return.

What flowers or colours are appropriate for a sympathy arrangement?

Typically, people choose a neutral colour scheme, but there's no strict rule — it really depends on the recipient. If you feel they'd appreciate a touch of colour during a difficult time, that's absolutely fine too. There's a notes section on every order, so you can always request more subdued wrapping if you'd prefer to keep things understated.

Do you deliver sympathy flowers to funeral homes, churches, or cemeteries, as well as private addresses?

Yes — we're happy to deliver to funeral homes, churches, or private addresses. We generally can't deliver to cemeteries, as there needs to be someone on-site to accept the flowers or a safe place to leave them.
