An update from EEFM regarding Covid-19

We are so humbled by the support and love everyone has shown us over the past few months, and want to be as transparent as possible with our wonderful customers on the impacts Covid-19 is still having on the flower industry. While things are slowly returning to normal around South Australia and the country, we are still feeling the effects and are having to adapt the way we work and the products we can make for you.
With interstate and international flights still limited, the ability to import flowers has been impacted. While EEFM has always tried to support local wherever possible, there are some flower varieties that just don’t grow in SA that we have to import. The reduced amount of freight means that these are not only less available, but also more expensive now. We do not want to raise our prices for you, so this means that you will be seeing less of some of our trusty favourite varieties that we have used and loved for years.
There is also increased demand during this time, as so many of us can’t see our loved ones at the moment and want to show we are still thinking of them! We have been working hard behind the scenes to source flowers from local growers to meet this demand, and while we have been able to find some beautiful stock, it does look a bit different to what you might be used to seeing at EEFM. We are still working in colour-tones, but you will be seeing some different varieties of flowers in our arrangements at the moment. We have updated our website images and descriptions to reflect the changes and adaptions we have had to make.
Our shop is still closed for the time being, as we want to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. We are still doing contactless deliveries 7 days a week to homes and business addresses, and still offer same day delivery for orders placed before 12pm, unless sold out prior.
Thank you again for supporting us, it means so much to each and every one of us here at EEFM. We hope you can understand and respect the changes that we have had to make to our business at this time to adapt to this new ‘normal’ we are all facing. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful network in South Australia, and feel lucky that we are still able to help you spread the love to your friends and family during this time.
Take care,
