We love celebrating the incredible suppliers we work with, and this time we’re shining a spotlight on Vineyard Flower Patch. Although we’ve only been working with Kate and Sarah for a year, they’ve quickly become a staple in the EEFM family. Their story is a beautiful blend of flowers, family, and history.
Vineyard Flower Patch is a charming flower farm run by sisters Kate and Sarah Elliott. Nestled in the picturesque Langhorne Creek wine region, the farm is part of the historic Karanto Vineyard, which has been in their family since 1910. Alongside their vibrant flowers, the family grows high-quality grapes, including Shiraz, Cabernet, and Fiano.
For Kate and Sarah, Vineyard Flower Patch blossomed in 2022 when Kate, an avid gardener, found herself with an excess of dahlia tubers and nowhere to plant them. She asked for a row in the vineyard, and Sarah suggested selling the blooms. What started as two 50-metre rows of dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, and strawflowers has now grown into a flourishing acre of floral beauty. The farm currently cultivates around 60 different varieties, with standout crops like ranunculus, stock, lisianthus, delphinium, snapdragons, dahlias, and more.
Their mission is simple: to offer the freshest, highest-quality blooms while being kind to the environment. Kate and Sarah are passionate about sustainable sourcing, and collaborating with florists who share their values brings them immense joy. Seeing their flowers used in events and weddings is a special thrill, adding their colourful touch to life’s most important moments.
And when the week wraps up, you can find the sisters unwinding with a glass of local wine, surrounded by their stunning blooms—a perfect blend of vineyard and flowers that’s as refreshing as it is inspiring.
We’re so proud to have Vineyard Flower Patch as part of the EEFM family, and we can’t wait to continue growing together!
Love, EEFM
