Mother’s Day 2019 is now done and dusted. The gang at EEFM have had our rest days and are now feeling refreshed and ready to tackle what is sure to be a big year for EEFM!
On behalf of the EEFM team we just wanted to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you for being apart of our Mothers Day 2019. As you may be aware we always celebrate our Mother Figures at EEFM. Not everyone has that “traditional” mum so we like to be inclusive of all motherly types, whether it be your dad, grandma, sister, cousin or friend.
For me my Mum past away 6 years ago to cancer, funnily enough she was also a florist so we never really celebrated Mothers Day on the actual day because we were always working. We would always celebrate the next day, our go to gift for our mum was Pyjamas or Ferrero Rocher. Mothers Day is always a hard day for me, because I have so many connections with this day with my mum being a florist and that she isn’t here to celebrate not only Mothers Day but so many milestones.
However this year is a special year because I have just enjoyed my very first Mother’s Day as a mum. Josh and I had a little boy named Bede in November last year. He has just turned 6 months old and we along with our family and friends are absolutely in love with him. We celebrated on the Tuesday after Mothers Day, were I was spoilt with a day off work and a little gift from Gorman (I have been told that Bede picked it)
I also just wanted to make a very special mention to all the EEFM staff who worked late nights and put their heart and soul into each and every order that was made and delivered and of course our loyal customers that supported us not only for Mothers Day but every day. If it was your first time ordering with EEFM then we hope you feel welcomed into the EEFM family. We have been operating almost 5 years and it’s amazing to see how much this little florist has grown. When we opened in 2015 we had no idea that we would be where we are now and it is all thanks to you guys!
We have a very exciting year ahead of us and we will be updating you guys in the coming months so watch this space!
Lots of Love,
Justine
Thank you from EEFM!

Your mum sure was a great florist!
I am so very thankful that I had the opportunity to have her teach me almost everything I know today. Since i have only recently just gotten back into floristy, I am often thinking of her, dancing to Sia, in the back of that little shop in Tanunda.
Love Your work Justine. Xo
