A little bit about us - Sof

Introducing: Sofia   How long have you worked at EEFM? I’ve been a part of this beautiful team for almost a year now.   What’s your favourite flower? And why? Just like most of us here at EEFM, I love Australian native flowers. Currently, my favourite flower is the banksia. There are so many species of banksia, but my favourite is the Banksia Victoriae. It is a distinct acorn shape that is pale orange in colour and has long pointy leaves that look like little triangular teeth. They’re a statement flower that look beautiful fresh and also dried! What’s your favourite plant? And why? I love plants that are long and drape down. One of my favourites is Devil’s Ivy....

A little bit about us - #3 Darcy

Introducing a brand new series of blogs we are going to be posting the next few weeks - 'A little bit about us'. We do already have a meet the team page on our website, if you haven't seen click here. In the meet the team page, one of our girls writes a little spill about each one of our staff members - a quick summary to get to know who you is serving you! Every week we will upload one of our staff members blog!  ...

They look and feel plastic, so it’s hard to believe they are real! Pictured: A photo to show some of the flowers at my...

Poppies

GET THEM WHILE THEY’RE HOT!!!!!   Right now at 248 Grenfell Street we are selling fresh poppies for $15 a bunch. Pink, White, Red, Orange, so many colours to choose from. There’s around 15 stems in a bunch, making them a dollar a stem, WHAT. A. BARGAIN. The pods are currently closed and starting to open, which means a burst of colour is about to pop from them and you can slowly watch them open up in your home. When you go to bed at night by the time you wake up some more will have come out to play. For Australians the red coloured poppy signifies Anzac Day and is very special to recognise the soldiers that have fought...

EEFM is Moving!

WE ARE MOVING!!!   If you haven’t heard already, we are moving on to bigger and better things. Still the same amazing concept and staff that you love in EEFM but with a whole new look! We are going to have new products, a bigger flower range and a whole lot of surprises that we will share with you in the coming months!  So why are we moving you ask? We absolutely love our current home in the East End and will miss our beautiful heritage building dearly but we have simply out grown the space. For the past two years we have had two seperate locations, a Studio where we do all our deliveries and of course our beautiful store on Grenfell St. We have always wanted to be all...
