In line with this vision, and R U OK? Day, EEFM have connected with Neami National - an organisation working to improve mental health and wellbeing in local communities. Neami’s recently opened Urgent Mental Health Care Centre (UMHCC), located on Grenfell St in the CBD, provides high-engagement support in a calm, “lounge room like” space to help with a person’s urgent mental health needs.
Start The Conversation...Keep It Going. This month at East End Flower Market, we will be celebrating and promoting Wear it Purple Day, which is on August 27th. The theme this year is ‘Start The Conversation….Keep It Going.’ Wear it Purple is a not-for-profit that was founded in 2010, in response to young people taking their own lives as a result of bullying and harassment for the lack of acceptance of their sexuality or gender identity.
